FOUNDER - YAICHA BRYAN
Yaicha is the force behind Embodied Energy Healing. She worked in healthcare for fifteen years, initially in research and administration, before completing graduate school to become a physician assistant (PA). As a PA, with a BS in psychology, she has worked in internal medicine, nephrology (the study of the kidneys), and transplantation.
After over seven years of practice as a PA, she realized that she wanted to help people heal before their health was so far deteriorated that she met them in critical condition in the hospital. She also recognized the lack of recognition in western medicine regarding the connection between trauma, chronic pain and disease. After experiencing her own health issues which she attributes to stress and trauma, she began to vigorously research alternative ways of healing.
With over 20 years of experience in dance and yoga, she created "Yogic Dance", which integrates intuitive movement and self-expression with the foundations of yoga and dance. She is a 200 hour RYT (registered yoga teacher), is registered with yoga alliance, and has also received certification in trauma-informed yoga.
Yaicha also still practices as a PA - providing Ketamine therapy to individuals seeking to find deep healing and purpose. Conditions treated include: PTSD/CPTSD, medication resistant depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and substance abuse.
In her quest to heal, Yaicha also experienced Reiki. She was honestly skeptical at first with her western medicine training, but was astounded at it's healing effects for trauma, emotional blockages, and physical pain. She is a Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master. She integrates breath, sound, meditation, and intuitive movement into her practice to facilitate deep healing and embodiment.
